She was kind of nervous and scared at first.
She did good for a while so I left. It lasted about 10 minutes.
Hey, that's better than I thought!
It was pretty funny to watch her just stare at all the crazy kids in disbelief.
She liked it!
I think she was really entertained just to stand and watch all the kids throw things at each other.
Maybe next time she'll join in.
Towards the end she was playing happily with one of the little girls.
It will take time for her to get used to it.
But it's so good for her to interact with other kids. I'm grateful for that.
On our way to church...

Trying to get her to take a picture before nursery.

That's a little bit better...

We've been trying different hairdos, and I liked this one. It lasted about 5 minutes. LOL gotta love that!
My advice for you: if you she is having hard time with you leaving her in nursery then try to stay as long as you can. Both of my kids had a hard time at first. If you can stay in there for at least the first hour, sometimes thats enough for them to realize that they don't need you.
ReplyDeleteYou may not have to do that because it sounds like she did pretty well!!! Just a thought!
I can't believe she is 18 months old, where does the time go? I need to call you and ask you how she did on the trip to Mexico, and how much her passport cost. We have never been down there and we were thinking about trying it later on in the year. I wonder if I am crazy or if I should just go for it.
