So I'm not a big sewing person, but luckily my mom is excellent at sewing! When we found out we were having a little girl, I decided that I wanted to try to make her some sort of blanket. My mom made Matt and I a beautiful rag quilt for our wedding, so I decided to kind of pattern it after that. This was surprisingly a lot easier than I thought it would be (probably because my mom coached me through the whole thing) and I had a lot of fun making it. I did most of it myself but towards the end when you have to sew all of the squares together I almost lost it. No, I am certainly not a patient person! I have to really give my mom the credit for sewing them all together. I look at it everyday and just imagine our little girl wrapped up in it!

This is a close up pic of a few of the patterns I used. I love the horseys!
