Many of you have been wondering what is going on with our little girl so I thought I'd give you an update on what's been happening. This past week she was doing really well with coming off of the oxygen and the machoneum was starting to dissipate. She was making really good improvements with everything until she came down with a viral infection on Wednesday or Thursday. The viral infection has now spread down to her lungs, making it harder and harder for her to breathe, which has resulted in putting her back on a higher dose of oxygen. This infection has turned into pneumonia so she's having to fight off that plus still fight off the machoneum aspiration (the original problem). We are so proud of her for handling all of this and for finding the strength to fight it off. Everytime we go in to visit her, the nurses tell us how fiesty and strong she is. LOL, just today she pulled the pick-line iv off of her head and her wrist, so they had to replace it on her foot where she couldn't reach it. They say they've never seen a baby quite as strong as she is. Even with her strength though, it will take a lot to get rid of the pneumonia. They are again giving her antibiotics to prevent any further sickness from entering into her body. We're so grateful for the good nurses and doctors who are watching over her and especially grateful for all of the prayers given in her behalf. We thank all of you for thinking and praying for our family at this time. We'll try to keep you posted.
