Thankful

I am so grateful for this special time of year! I have felt so blessed lately to have our new family together for our very first Christmas together. We are so fortunate to have both of our families so close to us. We wouldn't have made it through these past two months without our wonderful families. I have a new kind of appreciation for the love and support of families. Matt's parents come over every Sunday morning so Matt and I can go to church (since we can't take her out) and at other times when we need to do errands. My mom and dad watch Addi the days I work. She really loves both of her grandparents! She knows their voices and gets big smiles when she hears them. Right now she is learning how to use her legs a lot. When we put her in the bouncer we put a blanket over her little legs and within two seconds she has kicked it off. It is the cutest thing. She loves kicking her legs and moving her arms everywhere. She's definately a free spirit. I'm so happy she's home with us for the holidays.

Most of all I'm especially thankful for the birth of Christ. We wouldn't have life without Him! We wouldn't have eternal families with out Him! I am so happy because of His life and all that He sacrificed.

I love basically everything about Christmas time. Today I love the Christmas treats! I'm going to make some yummy Christmas delights. I'm a woman, so obviously I LOVE chocolate. During church my stomach was growling and I decided that I am going to make a triple chocolate cake! Doesn't that sound so yummy? Maybe I'll even post pics of it when I'm finished. Ha ha k I'm not that stupid. What do you love about Christmas?

I myself love Christmas as well. I love the spirit of giving. I was telling my husband last night how there are so many ungrateful people out there and we need to make sure we teach our children to be grateful for everything they have. Also, who doesnt love a beautiful Christmas tree?!
Oh and one more thing, if you make your CHOCOLATE cake you better share! :)

I love EVERYTHING about Christmas! I love giving presents and seeing the person's face when they open it! I love the smell of homemade food! I love my whole family being together! I love seeing my kid's face when he opens his presents, and even when he gets to see Santa! I could go on and on, but I won't!!! Merry Christmas Tara!!

Ya, how was your triple chocolate cake. You should just post the ol' recipe on your blog!! NE way, I love everything about christmas. Truly this year we can't wait to see Connor's reaction to his new toys. Heaven knows he needs new ones. He's so bored at home with the ones he has. Today I caught him just lying on the floor bored out of his mind. It was quite funny though.
