They had a live band (well it was more of a christian choir) that got us pumped up. I had to wait like 5 minutes after it started to start running because of all of the people.
During the race there was this guy in his yard cooking a huge breakfast. He was frying bacon and eggs and you couldsmell it for a mile I swear. Everyone was so mad at him. I just had to laugh. Honestly, does he think thats going to make us stop running!? All in all, it was a great time! I am excited to run the Syracuse half on Memorial day! I think I found a hobbie I love.

Thats awesome Tara!! I was there for the 5K, I don't think I will ever be able to endure a half marathon. Good for you!!
