Oh How The Years Roll By

Yesterday I was going through some pictures on my computer and it kind of made me a little bit sad! First I was looking at pictures of Matt and I when we were dating. We both looked so much younger! I feel like I have aged ten years physically from those pics. I guess that's what having a baby does to you. (Not complaining at all, I'd take aging any day if it means having a baby) I'm glad we took our time dating because we got to do a lot of fun things together. I realize most people get that time their first year(s) of marriage, but hello I was pregnant from the get-go (again not complaining at all, just stating a fact). When I think about our dating times, it seems like it was sooooo long ago. I feel like such a differnt person now. I just thought I would post a few pics of our dating times...
When Matt lived in D.C. we traveled to NYC on a stinky, hot, muggy bus. It was super cheap and we went with a bunch of his roomates out there. We arrived there at 1 a.m. on a friday night and it was bouncing with addrenaline. I remember I wore these red, super high-heel shoes that night and my feet were so sore when we got to the hotel. Needless to say I learned my lesson and didn't wear them the rest of the trip. We got to stay in the rockefeller hotel right on the strip. Matt knew a girl who used to work there and she got us rooms for $40 a night. I love hookups. Good times... it's fun to reminisce. :)

This picture was when we were going to school at USU. This is Old Main behind us, where Matt had 95% of his classes. It is the best school in the world! I recommend it to everyone!

Nate, Russ, me, Matt. At my cousins reception at Camp Williams. My bro Russ was fresh off the mish in this pic.

The summer Matt lived in D.C. I moved to Arizona for a few months. This is the Flynn family below. Sister Martinez and I baptized them on our missions and we reunited for their Temple Sealing. It was really beautiful. I love the Mesa Temple. They are a great family. Shannon always wanted to wear a big, white, fluffy wedding dress for her wedding but didn't have the money when she got married civilly years ago. Here is her dream wedding dress! And the best place to wear it!

This is Sister Sheffield and I in Mesa. She was my last companion in $cottsdale, and was finishing up her mission when I lived out there. We got to go on splits and I got to teach again! We had a really great time.

This is Stephany and Bryce. I nannied them while living there. Stephany is like my other little sister. We also taught them and baptized them on our mission. They are the best family in the world (besides mine, of course). I miss them so much!

I have been really missing the mish lately and it made me even sadder looking at these pictures. :( I know, a random post.

I agree--life is great now, but it is also sad to think that I'll never be able to go back to the other times of my life. I'm so glad we have the ability to take so many pictures and videos! Thanks for sharing!

It is CRAZY how the years fly by.. YOu and Matt are so cute. You were probably THE hottest sister missionary out there. That's awesome you served a mission!
