Summer, oh Summer, Where did you go?

It's always sad to see summer come to an end. I absolutely love summer, I wish it could be like this year round. It seems like there are so many more fun things to do and there is always more family around. One thing Matt and I love to do is have sleepovers. We get all our blankets and throw them down in front of the TV and veg out. We decided to include Addi this time, thinking she would fall right asleep. WRONG-OH. What the heck was I thinking? She gets so riled up and runs around and hops like a frog and dances... anything but lays down. We watched "Clash of the Titans" (so stupid) and she finally realized we weren't paying attention to her and zonked out.

One of Addi's favorite things to do is to come in and out of our room, shutting and opening the door. I personally think it would get so old, but she does it forever while I read on the bed. She thinks she's really sneeky when she looks at me with sweet little eyes and says, "Come in mom", so I try to walk in and she slams the door on me. Then she gets a wicked little laugh. hehe

While Russ and Amy were in town, we tried out the $2 Tuesday at Thanksgiving Point. It wasn't as crazy as I thought it would be, since we went the last Tuesday in the month and all the kiddos were in school. Amy was trying to get her to play in the sand but she didn't "want to get dirty." yeah, she's definatley my daughter.

OKay, I know this picture below is silly. Since I got a jogging stroller, we've been loving the crisp weather lately to go for a jog. I am paranoid about her getting sick so yes, I made her look like a nerd and bundled her up in her bunny hat. The funny thing is, as soon as we got back from the jog she was so hot she was sweating. I guess I over-estimated the coolness of the day. :)

We did the annual Ivers Lagoon a couple weeks ago, and it was a blast this year because Addi actually enjoyed the rides! She had so much fun with her "ton-tons" (cousins). All week before we went she kept asking when she could see her "ton-tons". Now she won't stop talking about how much fun she had with them. Rarely a day goes by when she doesn't name all of them, one by one. :)

Sam, Dylann, Presley, and Addi.

We had loads of fun! I'm kind of embarassed to say it, but I really kind of liked the kiddie rides! Matt and I went back yesterday just the two of us so we could go on some adult rides. By the end of the night I felt like I had the worst hang over in the world! I think I'm getting to be an old sap and I kind of missed the easy going kid rides yesterday! Good thing I have a little girl to give me the "excuse" to ride them. :)

wOw, look at that little grin. That's one of those, "I'm not getting into trouble mommy" smiles. I'm getting that one a lot, lately.

Love... Her... So... Much...
