Halloween, Mexico, Pumpkins, 24

What an extremely busy past month we have had! October came and go like a snap. Not complaining though, I like to be busy and have stuff to do.

The second week of October we went with my family and my grandparents to Mexico. I am so thankful to them for their generosity in always letting us go to their beach house and for their kindness. It was a lot of fun to go with them, they always make the trip more exciting and dramatic. I am always so stressed to go on vacations, mainly because I worry so much that Addi will be whiney in the long car ride down. I honestly can say I was/am so surprised at how well she did! I think the whole time she cried once. All I can say, is God Bless You Taylor Swift! She made it so bearable for Addi (and my sanity!).

The weather was great this time around. It's always hit or miss down there. The water was honestly warm (and I'm a baby when it comes to cold water). This little guy, Mr. Crab, was so mean! EVERY SINGLE DAY, I either got a crab pinching my foot or I stepped on a crab. No one believed me. The last day, I was out playing way out in the ocean and I felt this sting on my big toe. I ran so fast to shore screaming the whole way, and my mom and dad sat there and laughed. I was yelling, "I got stung!" and of course they thought I was lying, because I had been saying that everyday since we'd been there. Well I get over to my dad and stick my big toe right in his face so he can see the blood on my poor toe. He says, "oh I guess you really did get stung." DUH! Anyway, it was funny, maybe its one of those things where you had to be there.

What would we do without Janessa? She is amazing with Addi, always playing with her and taking her under her wing. And of course Addi loves her, too.
There is this huge surf/body board down at the house that we always take out in the water. We made Janessa pull us along as we rode the waves :)

Addi jammin to T-Swift. UGh... I'm so sick of hearin her music.

Some fun things on the Mexico trip were:

Grandma's yummy hamburgers. OMG, they were like a 1/2 lb patties and SOO Scrumptious!

Riding the Wave Runners and thinking I was going to die.

Seeing the dead Dolphin on the beach... my mom and I realizing we walked through the puddles of blood right by it. (Dolphins are so much bigger than I thought!)

Giving food and clothes to the LDS church down there for the people of San Felipe.

Seeing Addi so excited about swimming in the Ocean.

The comfy beds in the house (So much better than our old mattress!)

Playing PIG PILE with my grandpa. He won the first game and got so into it! They are a hoot!

Waiting an hour or so to get back in the US (not really a fun thing but definately a memory)

CHUCK-A-RAMA in St. George.... MMMmmmm that place is divine!

Anyway, I could go on forever but on to the next thing...

Pumpkins Matt's dad grows the HUGEST pumpkins I've ever seen. I love this picture with her nose scrunched. The pumpkins made for a fun Ivers Halloween Party.

Halloween I was a party pooper this year and didn't dress up. I don't really know why, usually I enjoy dressing up but I was just too preoccupied with other things, I suppose. Anyway, I had fun seeing Addi get so excited about TrIcK-oR-tReaTinG!!! This costume had a cute hood, but she couldn't stand it being on for too long (I don't blame her!) Cutest little Lady Bug...
My hilarious Matt. Halloween is his favorite Holiday (no joke). I had bought this stupid hat at Target in the dollar section around the 4th of July (I don't know what I was thinking) and we obviously never used it. A day before Halloween I saw it and thought Matt would have fun with it... And he did! That suit he's wearing is his dad's from the 70's. Gotta love it.
We also went to my parent's Ward Halloween dealio the night before. It was pretty fun. It was a western shindig theme and they had a lot of line dancing, which of course, Addi was front and center shakin her thang!
Cute gramma and Add.
Of course the Ivers Annual H. Party is always a load of fun. All the little kiddos looked so cute in their costumes. I didn't get a pic of all because ... well... I forgot, but trust me, they were all so adorable!
Matt and I got to sneak away for a little bit that night to go to one of his friends' Halloween Par-Tay.
So about a month or so ago, Matt went to Blockbuster to get us a movie to watch, adn came home with this....

24... (I don't know why this pic is so large)
My new addiction... I LOVE this show. If you are looking for a good show to get hooked on, this is your show. But beware... you won't be able to stop watching it.

Addi is such a cheeser :) Matt's costume looked pretty good! It's okay, I didn't dress up either, although I have an excuse :P

Tara I loved Matt's costume! And Addi looked adorable! She is getting soooo big! Those pics reminded me of when we dressed up, and I wore a slip as an 80's skirt! Ha ha! And Dolly lent us all that stuff. And the onesi pink outfit! ha ha, so funny!
